Check-in

Due to either a website error or an IP address mismatch, I was not able to check in online and had to check in at the airport. I initially tried to check in via the kiosk, but upon realizing my assigned seats were middle seats, I decided to wait and stand in line 3.5 hours before departure. The ground staff members at Seattle were a huge star on this whole trip. Friendly, courteous, attentive, yet efficient, and upon realizing my unfavorable seats, they moved me to a window seat for my continuing flight to Singapore and apologized for the middle seat for the Tokyo-bound leg. They were the main reason I gave them 3 bonus points and scored a score of 43/40, apart from the fact that I had no complaints upon arrival at Haneda, and the transfer process was seamless.
