Check-in

Due to the flight's load and possibly my travel party's status, we were assigned seats close to each other in the same row around a week in advance, with me occupying the window seat. Because of that, we had a pretty relaxed check-in just around 2.5 hours before the flight. With me taking charge of check-in, I was processed quickly and with no nosy questions from the ground staff, even though I am pretty sure she was the same person handling my check-in on my first Scoot flight 2.5 years ago. Despite the efficiency, they were rather cold and unfriendly, as if they were just being scolded by their manager or had a very unproductive sleep. That same attitude was carried by the other ground staff members I met at the Yogyakarta airport. They were giving almost everybody the silent treatment and only announced boarding zones, and nothing else. The saving grace of the whole ground experience was that my bag came out very quickly at Changi. I gave the overall ground experience a score of 29/40.

Made with prior communication.

Before boarding, creating videos onboard, and reviewing this flight, I communicated with and/or asked for permission from the airline. This does NOT impede the truth values of the scores and reviews written on this site, as well as in my videos and Instagram posts. As usual, I will never lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.
