Check-in

Once I arrived from the airport train, the check-in staff of Batik Air processed me quickly. The staff handling me was fast and friendly, and it only took me a while before I was able to pass the security check and head to the gate. Little did I know, I was assigned a seat that did not even exist, which I will be telling in more detail in the next section. While this was mostly Batik Air management's fault, considering that the same aircraft with the same registration had been operating on this particular route 80% of the time, I believe the check-in staff should have known better. That is precisely why I gave the check-in experience a low score of 4/10, making the total ground staff score 31/40, aggravated by the slow bag handling upon landing.
